YouInc.com was in beta until their October 2nd full launch with enhanced features. The site focuses on the lifestyle of Canadian entrepreneurs, while also facilitating networking and mentorship.
“Over the years, I have witnessed first-hand the trend towards an entrepreneurial culture in Canada. We are entering the entrepreneurial economy, a new era that will help build the future of our Country and increase our ability to compete globally,” Ms. Dickinson posted on her blog. “I believe that, as our economy evolves, we must encourage, celebrate and embrace what makes entrepreneurs unique and also provide them with the resources, support and tools necessary for increased success. Entrepreneurialism is a way of life where work and life are totally integrated. Entrepreneurialism is, in fact, a lifestyle choice.”

I’m disappointed that the discussion forum appears to have been discontinued, but perhaps they plan to relaunch that later.
Canadian entrepreneurs have needed an active online community for a long time. We’re spread out across a large country with many remote areas, leaving entrepreneurs feeling somewhat isolated. We need the support of our peers, mentorship, and access to Canadian resources to help guide us to success. Still a little buggy but it should be a good resource. I’m a fan of Dragons Den and I was just thinking I should read all the books the dragons published. I think they all have one now. I watch Shark Tank too but it’s really not as good because there’s too much ego on that one.
It’s tough to be an entrepreneur in Canada but there’s so many smart cookies here. We need to help each other as much as we can and that way we’ll be successful. Great strt for that in the new community.
