Since eCommerce is relatively new to Canadian businesses, every week we’re asked by our readers for recommendations in one product category or another. A couple of weeks ago, for example, we were asked to recommend all standard issue equipment and software for a startup web-based company. We’ve also received several requests lately from brands and retail companies for the promotion of tech and electronic equipment related to the booming eCommerce market.

This demand on both fronts has inspired creative ideas for series features, which focus on the best products for doing business online. The posts will be published here and will also be syndicated on several popular websites that our writer contributes to. We’ll have sidebar banners featuring these posts and they’ll be repeatedly promoted on social media.

PR Marketing Opportunity - Top Tech SeriesWhile we can always work with brands in a variety of ways, this type of series will limit the number of brands we can feature.  We will select brands on a first come, first serve basis.  To start, we’re excited to announce that we will be featuring periodic “Top” lists, beginning with laptops.

It’s important to us that we be ethically responsible to our readers in providing honest reviews. However, we will be emphasizing the positive features of each product for specific purposes, so all participants will benefit from their submission. We will also be featuring individual products in other posts over the next year whenever it is appropriate. For example, a blog post about working remotely may include your product in a list of recommended equipment. Additional promotional suggestions from brands will be considered as well. In other words, this feature can be part of a year-long, customized promotion package or a single submission (depending on the product value).

Brands and retail stores that are featured will be able to use this “nod” in their own marketing, and each post will include a graphic for the brand to use if they wish.

Canada is a vast, wide-open market, especially at the eCommerce level. If you are interested in supplying an eCommerce-related product for inclusion in our special features, please send an email to business{at}canadiansinternet.com.  To find out about other marketing and PR opportunities available, please check our our PR page.

We look forward to working with you!

If it can be linked to working online, Tracy, we’re open to discussing it. Thanks for asking!

Looking at the latest stats & insights I’m sure it’s a good time to focus on Canada, especially when other markets are all but saturated and only clamoring for the latest tech. Canadian branches of related enterprises would be smart to position themselves now. I mean it’s not like Canadian businesses are going to give up & never go online afterall, they’re just taking their sweet time before the inevitable. Some might resist to the bitter end but they won’t be around long.

Software is coming up but we may need a more defined format since there’s just so darned much of it ;-). Thanks for your interest, Barry, stay tuned!
